May I share my copy of the Insider with coworkers? No. Your license to the Insider is a personal, limited license and does not permit password sharing or the forwarding of electronic versions to non-subscribers. If several people in your office need to use the Insider, they should be signed up as additional users at the discounted rate.
What is an additional or extra user? Primary subscribers may register up to five addional users at a discounted rate as long as the additional users work in the same physical location or have been approved by the Insider.
How do I send news releases to the Insider? News releases should be emailed to
insider@ncinsider.com (preferred) or faxed to (919) 836-2814. The Insider is interested only in events pertaining to North Carolina and North Carolina state government.
How do I change my subscriber information? You can change your subscriber information by calling (919) 836-2804 or emailing

Did the Insider used to be free? No. The Insider archive, which dates back to 1993 and contains thousands of daily editions of the Insider used to be accessible without a subscription, but is now maintained for subscribers only.

If you are a subscriber, you can learn your username and password by clicking the "Lost Password" link under the Member Center options in the left-hand navigation portion of this page. May I share my Insider Legislative Tracking Service subscription? The Insider Legislative Tracking Service is sold on a company license basis rather than on an individual license basis. If a company buys two simultaneous logons, any two employees of the company may be logged onto the tracking web site at the same time. Reports generated within the service are built to be easily disseminated by email. Two or more companies or agencies may not share a single tracking subscription.
Is the Insider daily? The Insider is published five days a week, except on holidays and between Christmas and New Year's.
Who owns the Insider? The Insider State Government News Service is owned by The News & Observer.
